For connections to the mainland there is a foot passenger service that can take you to Southampton in 25 minutes for rail connections to London, and a regular car ferry service from East Cowes to Southampton. Gurnard is also a lovely coastal village and in walking distance where you can enjoy local pubs, a great restaurant the Little Gloster and the coastal walk to Thorness Bay. The busy village Sailing Club is also a great community asset.
